Admission Requirements for Graduate Programs

Master’s Programs

Applicants seeking admission for a master’s degree program at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Admissions Process

1. Documents to be sent to Academic Program Office (APO)

To apply for a master’s degree program, applicants must submit all the required documents below to the APO, and pay a nonrefundable application fee of USD $5 for local applicants and USD $20 for foreign applicants (E-MBA is USD$20).

Required documents       

  1. A copy of certified bachelor’s degree
  2. A copy of bachelor’s degree transcript
  3. A copy of  resume/CV
  4. A personal statement letter stating why you are interested in our graduate programs
  5. Two letters of recommendation from current/previous supervisor and/or professors
  6. A TOEFL score of at least 550 or IELTS score of at least 6.0 (If the TOEFL score or IELT score cannot be obtained, applicants are required to take PUC GAT Test)
  7. Two photos (4 X 6)
  8. PUC’s application form available at Academic Program Office (APO)

Please note that PUC GAT Test can be waived if applicants hold a bachelor’s degree from PUC or from English Speaking countries.

2. Interview 

Applicants might be required to have an interview with the Dean of the Faculty if an undergraduate major is different from a major that applicants intend to pursue in a master’s program.

Doctor's Program


Applicants seeking admission for a doctoral degree program at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia must hold a master's degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Admissions Process

1. Documents to be sent to Academic Program Office (APO)

To apply for a doctoral degree program, applicants must submit all the required documents below to the Academic Program Office (APO), and pay a nonrefundable application fee of USD $20 for local applicants and USD $50 for foreign applicants.

Required documents       

  1. A copy of certified bachelor’s degree
  2. A copy of bachelor’s degree transcript
  3. A copy of certified master’s degree
  4. A copy of master’s degree transcript
  5. A copy of  resume/CV
  6. A personal statement letter
  7. Three letters of recommendation
  8. A draft research proposal
  9. A TOEFL score of at least 550 or IELTS score of at least 6.0 (If the TOEFL score or IELT score cannot be obtained, applicants are required to take PUC GAT Test)
  10. Two photos (4 X6)
  11. PUC’s application form (available at APO)

Please note that the TOEFL, IELTS or PUC GAT Test can be waived if applicants hold a master’s degree from PUC or from English Speaking countries.
